How to change a nappy?

Open the nappy and slide it under the baby while gently lifting his or her legs and feet. Make sure to "massage" the nappy to remove any packing creases. Note: Back of the nappy can be identified by the two side fastening strips. Bring the front part of the nappy up between the baby's legs and onto the belly. Bring the fastening strips around and fasten snugly. The strips should sit symmetrically on the waistband at the front of the nappy. The nappy should appear straight and equally proportioned on the baby, sitting just under the belly button. The leg cuffs should wrap neatly around your baby's legs and bottom. Run your fingers along the inside edge of the nappy to activate the leak guard (pull out the leak cuffs). Perform a snug check -- you should be barely able to insert your finger between the nappy and your baby's body. How to change nappy pants?

Put the nappy pant on and pull up over baby's bottom. The leg cuffs should wrap neatly around your baby's legs and bottom. Run your fingers along the inside edge of the nappy to activate the leak guard (pull out the leak cuffs). To take off, tear the sides for quick and easy removal. Dispose the nappy pant by rolling it, place in a biodegradable nappy bag and put in the rubbish bin.

How to find the correct nappy fit?

A nappy that fits well, should appear straight and equally proportioned on your baby. The leg cuffs should wrap neatly around your baby's legs and bottom. After putting on the nappy, run your fingers around these edges to make sure the leak barrier cuffs are pulled out. Cuffs being tucked inside are a common cause of leakage. Check the waist band is snug with the nappy placed just under the belly button. The tapes should be fastened symmetrically on the waistband on the front of the nappy. Can I add nappies to the home compost bin?

We don't recommend home composting of nappies.  Why?  Fecal matter can get mixed with your home compost for food gardens / plants that may be eaten. Human waste is filled with bacteria and other pathogens that may spread disease, and the typical at-home compost pile doesn’t get hot enough to kill these organisms.  Cuddlies Eco Water Wipes can be composted provided they do not contain fecal matter.

Is Cuddlies ok on sensitive skin?

Bamboo fabric used on our nappies and wipes, is hypoallergenic and has antibacterial / anti-fungal properties making it perfect for sensitive skin.  Cuddlies products are made with safe and non-toxic material that is gentle on the skin.  A common skin irritant is synthetic dye, which our product does not contain. Chemicals typically used in the manufacturing of conventional nappies and wipes are also a culprit for skin irritation.  Chlorine bleach is another huge offender used in manufacturing conventional nappies, leaving behind dangerous byproducts called dioxins, which, according to the EPA are among the most toxic chemicals known to science and highly carcinogenic.  There is 0% chlorine in Cuddlies nappies!  Change nappies often, keep your baby's bottom clean and dry and apply nappy cream.  Using Cuddlies non-toxic, silky soft bamboo breathable nappies will keep your baby healthy and happy.
